Delineation is a fancy word for drawings, and if you like architectural drawings, you’ve come to the right place! Recently, the winners of the 40th annual AIA Dallas Chapter Ken Roberts Memorial Delineation Competition or “KRob” as it is commonly referenced were announced. As is to be expected from the longest running architectural delineation competition in the world, the entries were incredible.
I’m not going to waste a bunch to time here so let’s get to the winning entries, the juror’s selections, and a handful of the finalists from this years event. If you like this sort of stuff, I recommend that you head over to the official Ken Roberts Competition web site and take a look at all the recognized entries (finalists and winners) from this year and the last 9 years! It’s a huge repository of architectural eye-candy.

I can’t help but think about the amount of time and effort that goes into these sorts of drawings, and as much as I love to look at drawings such as these, I know that I will never be this skilled … but that’s okay. I am more than okay looking at an appreciating the talents of others.
Congratulations to all the finalists and winners to this years Ken Robert Memorial Delineation Competition!
Happy Delineating –
